Facebook fined $2.3 million for under-reporting illegal content

According to German authorities, Facebook presented an incomplete report on the amount of illegal content on its website.

Facebook's report for the first of half of last year indicated that only 1,704 pieces of illegal content were found on its website. Youtube reporter over 1440,000 pieces of illegal content for that same period.

Facebook maintains that there report is accurate and reserve the right to appeal.
