Couple in India behead themselves in ritual sacrifice with homemade guillotine

A couple in India committed suicide using a guillotine-like contraption to decapitate themselves in a sacrificial ritual, police confirmed Monday.

Hemubhai Makwana, 38, and his wife Hansaben, 35, performed the ritual suicide in the western state of Gujarat, to appease Hindu gods, police confirm.
